Pinot
Noir Shootout
Defining Pinot Noir Styles
The best and most comprehensive
Pinot Noir tasting in the world, this year's Pinot Noir Shootout
will again explore and assess different styles of Pinot Noir.
We will denote the descriptors and scores of the panelists and
we will describe the wines as experienced by the female and
male panelists in an attempt to discover whether women and men
prefer different wine styles.
Affairs of the Vine will
conduct the Pinot Noir Shootout finals throughout November and
December. The final judging will be conducted on Saturday, January
15, 2011 in San Francisco, California.
